Masters and Johnson observe that the clitoris is automatically ‘stimulated’ in intercourse since the hood covering the clitoris is pulled over the clitoris with each thrust of the penis in the vagina – much, I suppose, as a penis is automatically ‘stimulated‘ by a man’s underwear whenever he takes a step.
