Lin: Jane, just wondering. I want to give credence to your beliefs but where did they come from? What authors? What experts? Im really interested in knowing where you got these ideas besides just talking to other women. I will respect published work by modern sexual therapists and psychologists. JANE: You ignore Kinsey and Hite but not Masters & Johnson. Sexologists and the public have the same beliefs based on sexual ignorance. Sex therapists never talk of their own experiences. They refer me to a book or a socalled expert. If female orgasm were common then every woman would be an expert. JANE (cont): Instead, millions of women are silent. Science questions and challenges. But sex is political because of the rewards men offer. Sexual therapists & psychologists are trained in a male dominated system of sexual ignorance. I am talking about facts & logic common sense. Lin: Who is being silent? Have you talked to professional sex workers and dommes? Sexual therapists? JANE: How do these women represent the average woman? Womens behaviours are often confused with responsiveness. Women in the general population are the best indicator of womens true responsiveness & most of them refuse to comment. JANE (cont): Women on the internet are selling sex or their own ego. They differentiate themselves from the average woman on the street. But this is evidence that most women do not behave the same way as women who are being paid. Men are not whores or sluts. This is because men do what comes naturally.
