(Andrea Burri) Jamuna : The distress associated with female sexual dysfunction (FSD) is complex and often stems from a combination of internal and external factors. Jamuna (cont): As Andrea Burri suggests, women may feel distressed not solely because of the symptoms (such as lack of desire, arousal issues, or pain) but because of the perceived failure to meet what partners, society, or even they themselves believe is normal or desirable. Jamuna (cont): This selfimposed pressure can amplify feelings of inadequacy and frustration, making FSD a deeply psychological and socially influenced one.
