Jas: I can recommend a great book on female sexuality. JANE: Can you tell me why you thought it is a great book?I haven’t found any of these women who write about sex who JANE (cont): have anything useful to say. They are just repeating the popular beliefs that circulate in the population. Jas: The author is literally a Ph.D. in health behavior and sexuality. So she isn’t repeating popular beliefs, she’s discussing her scientific findings. JANE: Please can you summarise her findings? How are they helpful? Surely if every woman has orgasms, it should be common knowledge? Why do we need to buy a book? Jas: I am very confused I have to say. What is your argument? That women don’t have orgasms? Jas (cont): What do you say to women like myself who have had orgasms all my life? With men and women. JANE: I ask women daily to explain the anatomy, stimulation technique and erotic turnons involved in achieving these orgasms they think they have. JANE (cont): Boasting about orgasm is easy. Very few women are willing to be explicit. It’s all bravado! I talk about eroticism and sexual pleasure. Jas: I am still confused. How can you tell me what my personal experience of orgasm is? I think we are going to have to agree to disagree on this one. Dedicated to womens enjoyment of sexual pleasure
